Located in Xi´an’s southern Yanta District, inside the tree-lined old campus of Xi'an International Studies University, our center is easily accessible by public transportation. We are just one subway stop away from Xi'an's popular Xiaozhai Saige shopping mall and two subway stops away from the Information and Learning Centre at Shaanxi Library, which offers a wide variety of German books and media provided by the Goethe-Institut.
Every two weeks we offer a German corner free of charge in a near-by cafe open to learners of every level and interest to mingle with other learners and native speakers to practice spoken German in a fun and communicative way.
With 300sqm of space, our centre provides students with all the facilities they need to focus, learn, and grow.
You can expect attractive course rooms equipped for modern teaching and a professional and helpful team.
Our bright and friendly classrooms are equipped with digital whiteboards and Wi-Fi for learner oriented and interactive language learning.
The Goethe Language Learning Centre in Xi’an does not have its own library. If you are interested in further reading on German language, literature, culture and current news, let us refer you to the “Onleihe” of the Goethe-Institut (https://www.goethe.de/ins/sha/de/kul/bth/onl.html) and the book and media collection in the German Information Library within the Shaanxi Provincial Library (https://www.sxlib.org.cn).
