German Intensive Evening-Weekend blended

Course Brief

„German Intensive Evening-Weekend“ – this course format is best suited for you if you want to learn German very intensively in the evenings and on weekends. As a beginner and without any previously acquired proficiency in German as a foreign language, you will reach CEFR level A1 in about two months or one course term and level A2 in a total of four months or two course terms. Subsequently, Goethe-Jinchuang offers these follow-up courses: B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2, C1.1 and C1.2, each lasting about two months or one course term in this intensive format.

Tue.-Thu. 19:00-21:30 (3 teaching units, online); Sat. and Sun. 13:15-17:30 (5 teaching units, face-to-face)

blue: 5 teaching units each day

green: 3 teaching units each day

Notes

*Totally 152 teaching units, each unit 45 min.

*After finishing this course you can advance one (levels A1, A2) or a half of a level (levels B1, B2, C1)

*Our course levels are designed in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

*Group size: 12 to 20 participants

*Location: we will inform you within three days before the course starts

  1. Registration Phase 1 (17 July – 11 August, 15:00):
    Continuing 5,000 RMB / New 5,200 RMB
    (Enrollment and payment must be completed by 11 August, 15:00.)
  2. Registration Phase 2 (11 August, 15:00 – 19 August, 15:00):
    Continuing 5,200 RMB / New 5,400 RMB
    (Enrollment and payment must be completed by 19 August, 15:00.)
  3. Registration Phase 3 (after 19 August, 15:00):
    Continuing 5,400 RMB / New 5,400 RMB

The 100 RMB registration fee is included in the course price. Textbooks and further course materials are provided free of charge.

Eligibility for the “Continuing” rate (one of the two conditions must be met):

  • Currently enrolled in a standard course of 80+ teaching units (TU) at Goethe-Jinchuang Shanghai;
  • Former students who successfully completed a standard course of 80+ TU at Goethe-Jinchuang Shanghai and re-register within six months of completion.
