This September 1, Goethe-Jinchuang Shanghai opens two intensive German courses for learners with a clear goal. Both run outside our five regular course periods — small groups (8–16), in-person teaching plus a weekly one-on-one consultation, Goethe quality standard throughout.
🚀 A-Track — 10 weeks, from zero to A2
No prior German needed. For beginners with solid English who want a fast, structured foundation.
🎯 B-Track — 20 weeks, from A2 to B2
For learners with a solid A2 aiming to study or work in a German-speaking country. Reach B2 by late January — in time for spring 2027 university applications, and home for Chinese New Year having reached your goal.

✍️ How to apply
Seats are limited, and the process from first contact to enrolment takes time — reach out early.
- Deadline: August 24, 2026 — the cut-off for final enrolment and payment. Consultation and interview must be completed before then.
- Interviews: arranged individually with you throughout August (online or on-site).

- 1) Contact us (email preferred): write to info.shanghai@goetheslz.com and attach your educational background, motivation, and any relevant proof (A-Track: proof of English; B-Track: proof of A2 German). You’re also welcome to reach us by phone or via the WeChat Mini-Program.
- 2) Free consultation + interview: we help you confirm which track fits (a placement test can be arranged for the B-Track) and hold a short interview to make sure the course matches your goal — to save you a wrong turn, not to gate you out.
- 3) Confirm enrolment and pay: complete by August 24 to secure your seat.
