The Goethe Certificate B2

Exam Brief

The B2 exam consists of four modules (reading, listening, writing, speaking), which can also be taken individually or in combination with 600 RMB per module. The Goethe Certificate B2 requires an advanced language level. The examination corresponds to the fourth level (B2) on the six-level competence scale of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages . You can after passing the exam for example

  • follow the main content of concrete and abstract topics and extract the information relevant to you (for example in radio broadcasts),
  • understand a wide range of texts, including both shorter texts (such as advertisements) and longer, complex factual texts, comments and reports,
  • express yourself in writing on complex issues in a clear and structured manner, but also correct incorrect texts of others,
  • give clearly structured oral presentations on general topics and on topics from your own areas of interest,
  • Take an active part in discussions on topics you are familiar with, take a stand and present your own points of view.
