1. General registration conditions
   To enroll in any course you have to be 16 years of age. If under 16 we propose to participate in children’s or youth course. Participants in language classes should have the basic ability to spell the alphabet.
2. Payment method
   • For beginners who don’t have any foundation of German, please enroll in the A1 course or A1.1 course. If you have prior knowledge and do not possess a valid Goethe certificate, certification for German learning hours, or other official certificates obtained within the last six months, you are required to take the language level test. After taking the level test, the center will recommend an appropriate level for you. The test fee is 100 RMB per person.
   • The full course fees must be paid before the beginning of the course.
   • Before the course starts, staff will inform you of the payment of fees, please do not pay at the time of registration. Payment information is as follows (you can pay via e-banking or mobile banking, Alipay or WeChat is not available):

     Please make sure to note “Course + Name” when making the transfer. Always check the account name (Guangdong University of Finance and Economics) and the remittance amount before making the transfer. If there is any problem, please contact us immediately and confirm that there is no mistake before proceeding with the payment. Please submit a screenshot of the remittance confirmation to us as soon as possible after payment has been made. We consider the time of confirmation received as the time of completion of payment.
3. Fees
   • The prices valid at the time of registration on our website are part of the contract. Our courses can only be booked as a whole. Admission after the start of the course is only possible in exceptional cases. In this case, the full course price will be charged. The decision is made by the Centre Goethe Language of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics.
   • Course fees and discounts policies are subject to the language center admissions guidelines; our school will be based on market conditions to adjust preferential policies.
4. Withdrawal from Course
   • If the cancellation occurs before the first day of the course, the fees will be fully refunded; Once payment has been made, there are no refunds. The courses are not allowed to be postponed and we do not allow others to take the course for you. Please make your learning and enrollment plan in advance.
   • We ask for your understanding that even in case of illness we can not refrain from the cancellation conditions.
5. Classification / Class size
   • The assignment to a course level is determined after the language skill test.
   • If an internal student has failed the internal final exam, he / she is not eligible to enroll in the higher-level course. 6.3 Should the number of participants be under the minimum, Guangdong University of Finance and Economics reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course. In the case of course cancelation, the participants will be offered a refund of course fees or a course change. Unfortunately, only those courses can be concluded which have the minimum number of participants at the end of the enrollment period. In order to avoid that a course must be canceled, we ask you in your own interest, to register within the specified period.
6. Certificate of attendance
   If you attend at least 70% of the live course sessions and complete 70% of the tasks assigned by teachers, the participant will receive a certificate of attendance, positive performance in class is also required to receive the certificate.
7. Duties of the participants
   Participants should assure the stability of the Internet connection and prepare for a computer with microphone. The mobile phones are not appropriate for the courses. Please find out a quiet environment for study and make sure that you can hear the teachers and speak clearly. For offline courses, please follow the regulations of the University.
8. Learning material
   You should buy the textbooks by yourself.
9. Liability of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics / Force Majeure
   The liability of Guangdong University for Finance and Economics and its employees lies within deliberate intension and gross negligence. The Guangdong University of Finance and Economics is also not liable for the loss of its services due to force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, fires, floods, war, official orders and any other circumstances beyond the control of the contracting parties).

General additional terms
If one or more of these terms and conditions is invalid, there shall be no effect on the validity of the other terms.
