Course Schedule
When signing up online, you can choose the course type (live/onsite) and class time (morning/afternoon). The final class schedule will be determined based on the majority preference before the course starts.

 

 

Course Introduction

Course Overview
Online courses are conducted through live Zoom sessions (https://zoom.us/), while onsite courses allow face-to-face interaction with both the teacher and classmates. In both formats, you will be able to listen to the teacher’s explanations, interact with other students, participate in group discussions, and apply the knowledge you’ve learned through practical exercises to ensure effective learning.

Course Preparation
For online courses, you are required to use a computer or iPad with a microphone and camera. Mobile phones are not recommended for attending class. The camera must be turned on during class. Please ensure a stable internet connection and a quiet learning environment.

Course Materials
Students are required to purchase the textbook themselves.A1: “Das Leben: A1” (3rd Edition) – Student’s Book, Workbook (and Vocabulary Handbook).

A2, B1.1: “Studio21” (2nd Edition) – Student’s Book, Workbook, and Vocabulary Handbook.

B1.2, B2, C1: “Aspekte Neu” – Student’s Book and Workbook.

Important Notes
Online courses are conducted via Zoom with real-time interactive live sessions. They cannot be recorded, replayed, or rescheduled, and attendance cannot be substituted by others. Both online and onsite courses require participation in at least 70% of the sessions and active interaction during class to receive a certificate of completion.For copyright protection, recording live sessions is strictly prohibited. Additionally, students are not allowed to share or distribute course materials or use them for any commercial purposes. Any violations will result in legal action by Goethe-SLZ Guangzhou against those responsible.

Course Fees

External students who register online 14 days before the course starts (no payment required) can enjoy a 100 RMB discount; internal students can enjoy a 200 RMB discount.

 

Registration Process

Online Registration
To register, please click on “Read more” for online registration. A WeChat class group will be created before the course starts as a supplementary teaching tool. Please do not make any payment during registration.

Language Level Test
For students at A1 or above levels, please upload your Goethe course attendance certificate or exam certificate for the previous level, issued within the past 6 months, via our registration link. If you are a current student who has not yet received your attendance certificate, please note. We will verify it after the course ends.If you do not have the required certificates, please indicate that you need to take the placement test. The test fee is 100 RMB.

Important Notes
In general, payment will only be requested after the class has been confirmed. If the final number of paying students does not meet the minimum required for the class, the center reserves the right to postpone or cancel the course, and in this case, a full refund will be issued.
If the minimum number of students is reached and the course proceeds, no refunds or deferrals will be allowed.Once the course starts, no changes can be made to the mode of delivery (online or offline).
