Goethe-Zertifikat C1 is an examination for adults. It certifies that candidates have acquired advanced language skills and corresponds to the fifth level (C1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

After completing the registration, refunds, rescheduling, or transfers of the exam fee for personal reasons are not possible. If you need to cancel the exam due to illness, a medical certificate must be provided immediately. Rescheduling or refunding the exam fee will be at our discretion and subject to a processing fee of 25 percent of the exam fee.
