Online-Volunteering at the SISU Goethe-Language Learning Center in Chongqing

The Goethe Language Learning Center at Sichuan International Studies University in Chongqing is a cooperation between the Goethe-Institut and Sichuan International Studies University (SISU). We offer German language courses and the Goethe-Institut’s official Goethe-Zertifikat examinations. We are looking for dedicated Online-Volunteers to support our team.

 

Your tasks may include the following activities:

  • Writing blog posts, articles and newsletter content
  • Creating social media posts and graphics
  • Proofreading and editing texts for our website and publications
  • Translating German-language materials into Chinese or English
  • Conducting internet research on relevant topics
  • Gathering information on cultural trends
  • Creating flyers, brochures and other promotional materials
  • Online support for (virtual) events
  • Conducting online surveys and collecting feedback
  • Creating project and event proposals

 

Requirements profile:

If you are interested in working as an Online-Volunteer, you should meet the following profile:

  • Interest in the German language and culture
  • Good written communication skills in German and English and ideally in Chinese
  • Creativity and enjoy creating content
  • Reliability and ability to work independently
  • Basic knowledge of common software programs (e.g. MS Office, graphics software) and (Chinese) social media platforms
