The long-awaited winter course programme is finally here, and registration has begun! The Goethe Language Centre of Qingdao University continues to offer high quality German courses during the winter holidays. - For the courses this semester, two teaching formats are offered:face-to-face courses or live online courses. The Goethe Language Center of Qingdao University reserves the right to explain and decide on the final teaching format. The teaching format will be determined based on the preferences of the registered participants. If you choose the in-person course, please make your own arrangements for accommodation and meals during the course in advance. The online courses will be conducted live via Tencent Meeting. The content and progress of the online and in-person courses are identical, and the same teaching materials will be used. Therefore, a high level of self-discipline and self-motivation is expected for online courses as well.
- Participants registering for courses above the A1 level must take a placement test after registration to determine the appropriate course level. Please schedule an appointment for the placement test at the time of registration after submitting the registration form.
- The final teaching format for each course level will be determined based on the preferences of the majority of participants. The Language Center reserves the right to decide on the course format and may suggest a change to the selected teaching format based on actual circumstances.
- Technical requirements for online courses:a computer, a headset with a microphone, and a stable, high-speed internet connection (mobile phones are not supported for online learning). To ensure the quality of teaching and to create an immersive German learning environment to the greatest extent possible, we require participants to keep their cameras on during live online classes.
- The textbooks are not included in the course fees and must be purchased online (see the image below).
