BEFORE REGISTRATION:
Our summer language courses are still planned as online courses. The lessons are conducted via the ZOOM software, which you can optionally download free of charge (https://zoom.com.cn/). You will also need a headset and a stable internet connection to participate in our online language courses. We recommend a PC or laptop as the end device. Unfortunately, we cannot accept smartphones or tablet computers. After registration, you will receive further information about your language course. Before the start of the course, a WeChat group will be set up for all participants.
If there are too few registrations, the JESIE-Goethe Language Learning Centre reserves the right to cancel or postpone courses. In this case, you will be refunded the full course fee.
For course participants who have registered for a spring course, we will reserve a place for a Goethe exam for the period July to September 2022. Once a place has been reserved, the course fee cannot be refunded.
COURSE DURATION AND DATES:
- 18 July 2022 – 20 August 2022 (a total of 150 teaching units)
- Course times: Monday to Saturday morning 8:30-12:45 or afternoon 13:30-17:45
- 5 lessons per day (45 minutes per lesson)
- Course levels: A1, A2, B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2, C1.1, C1.2
- Course size: 6 – 18 participants
- Price: 5000 RMB (4800 yuan for old students).
NEW: All course participants can request to reserve a place for Goethe German exams in July to September 2022 at the JESIE-Goethe Language Learning Center, paying the discounted internal price.
If you have previously attended a German language course at the JESIE-Goethe Language Learning Center, we will grant you a discount of 200 RMB.
If there are too few registrations, the JESIE-Goethe Language Center reserves the right to cancel individual courses.
PREREQUISITE FOR COURSE ENROLLMENT:
Entry A1: beginner level, no proof required.
A2 and higher: Proof of the previous level by means of a certificate of participation in a course of a Goethe Language Learning Center or a Goethe Institute with at least “participated with success” or a Goethe certificate. If no such proof is available, a placement test can be taken. For the placement test we will charge you 200 RMB. This fee will be refunded to you after successful registration.
TEXTBOOKS:
In our A1, A2 and B1.1 language courses we use the textbook “Studio 21” published by Cornelsen. In the B1.2, B2.1, B2.2 and C1.1 levels we use “Aspekte Neu” from Klett.

b) check your data for correctness afterwards. After submitting your data, no changes can be made.
c) Please make only personal registrations in your name.
d) If you want to redeem a discount during the registration process, please contact our language course office by mail.

e) Confirm the accuracy of the information to complete the payment process.
f) After the payment is completed, click “My Course” to view your enrollment information.
