Kokowääh is a well-known German comedy from 2011. In his role as a screenwriter, “Henry”, played by Til Schweiger, has so far been rather unsuccessful. A great opportunity arises when he is supposed to work on the adaptation of a bestseller novel. But the joy quickly evaporates when Henry learns that his ex-girlfriend Katharina, of all people, should work on this film adaptation. And to top it all off, a little girl appears who claims to be Henry’s daughter …
Til Schweiger , born in Freiburg in 1963, is one of the most famous German actors. Schweiger became known in the 90s through films such as “The Moving Man” and “Knockin on Heaven’s Door”. He later founded his own production company. Films like Keinohrhasen, Honig im Kopf and Kokowääh, in which he acted as a director, producer and actor, had a million anniversary and made him the most successful German filmmaker. His role in Tarantino’s “Inglorious Basterds”, where he stood in front of the camera alongside Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz, also made him known to an international audience.
