Our winter holiday courses are still planned as online courses and are conducted via the software ZOOM, which you can download for free (https://zoom.com.cn/). Furthermore, you need a headset and a stable internet connection to participate in our online courses. We recommend a PC or laptop as the end device. Unfortunately, we cannot accept smartphones or tablet computers. After registration, you will receive further information about your language course. Before the course starts, a WeChat group will be set up for all participants.
If there are too few registrations, JESIE-Goethe Language Learning Centre reserves the right to cancel or postpone courses. In this case, the full course fee will be refunded.
Upon registration, we will reserve a place for a Goethe certificate examination from March to May 2023. Once a place has been reserved, the course fee can no longer be refunded.
This spring, JESIE-Goethe Language Learning Centre will offer a wide range of different language courses. You can choose from three modules: Superintensive Courses, German Intensive Weekend Courses, and German Intensive Evening Weekend Courses. With different course durations and different class times, there is a suitable offer for every type of learner!
OUR COURSE OFFER:
German Super Intensive: Our German Super Intensive Courses take place 5 days a week from Monday to Friday and last 180 teaching units. This gives you plenty of time to learn the material. Your teacher will spend plenty of time answering your questions and regularly giving you individual learning tips. There is enough time to repeat demanding subjects or to learn about the country in order to prepare you perfectly for a possible stay abroad or a job with a German company in China.
Course duration: 180 teaching units of 45 minutes each

Lesson times: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m., 5 teaching units each

German Intensive Evening Weekend Courses: Our combined evening and week-end courses are designed to meet your needs, as you learn German at the weekend as well as three evenings a week. With this flexible course offer, you have the opportunity to successfully complete a German course in less than two months.
Course duration: 160 teaching units of 45 minutes each
Dates: 4 March to 26 April 2023
Lesson times: Tuesday to Thursday 18:00 – 21:15; Saturday – Sunday 8:30 – 12:45 or 13:30 – 17:45
Language levels: A1, A2, B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2, C1.1, C1.2
Price: 5300 RMB (without learning materials)
Course size: 6 -18
German Intensive Weekend courses: For students, working people or all those learners who are prevented from attending on weekdays, we recommend attending our weekend courses. Here you learn German on Saturdays and Sundays for 5 teaching units.
Course duration: 80 lessons of 45 minutes each
Dates: 4 March to 2 July
Lesson times: Saturday – Sunday 8:30 – 12:45 h or 13:30 – 17:45 h
Language levels: A1, A2, B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2, C1.1, C1.2
Price: 5300 RMB excl. learning materials
Course size: 6 -18
NOTE: If you have previously attended a German language course at the JESIE-Goethe Language Learning Centre, we will grant you a discount of 200 RMB.
COURSE ENROLMENT REQUIREMENTS
Entry A1: beginner level, no proof required
From A2: Proof of the previous level by means of a certificate of participation in a course at a Goethe Language Learning Centre or a Goethe Institute with at least “participated with success” or a Goethe Exam certificate. If no such proof is available, a placement test can be taken. We charge 200 RMB for each placement test. This fee will be refunded to you after you have successfully registered.
TEACHING WORKS:
In our A1, A2 and B1.1 language courses we use the textbook “Studio 21” from the Cornelsen publishing house. In B1.2, B2.1, B2.2 and C1.1 we use “Aspekte Neu” from Klett.
